- It has a 200cc sungle cyclinder liquid cooled engine the bike delivers 24.5bhp that is very good and 18.5 Nm of torque,Personally I felt less torque while riding it delivers good power and torque till 4th gear it fells low punchyness in 5th and 6th gear.
The looks and performance of the bike is topnotch.The company claims 35kmpl but my bike gives me 30to 32kmpl on highways and 20 to 25kmpl in city. The bike design looks muscular and bit aggressive it gives sexy looks in highways The design has good aerodynamics it feels less windblast.
Overall vehicle maintenance is very cheap but, the quality of service is worst the mechanics of the service centre are not fully trained or qualified. The engine oil 20w50 which is used in rs200 of bajaj brand is not worthy. It is mineral engine oil not a synthetic. Bajaj has to use fully synthetic engine oil.
I have expirenced this engine oil, it looses it’s viscosity just in 1or2 months the gear shifting of bike feels little hard and vibrations too. Pros Better power and torque Low maintenance cost Better in aerodynamics and design. Cons Fit and finish is not good Bad service expirence Small tyre size

The looks are what attracted me, a sports bike with 200cc and good power along with great design and ABS was a perfect combination for me The riding posture is great, performance wise it’s able to easily catch up with R15 and other similar-priced bikes.
The lights are great and the sound is just wow. You will get an amazing experience riding it The service has been great by Bajaj but a bit towards the higher price side I might say considering it’s a 200cc bike and maintenance is okay. If you keep doing the regular service on time, the bike will be great for a lot of years.
- The brakes are great and having ABS on the front has been a blessing in disguise in many situations.
- Now that I’ve spoken of the good about the bike, let’s move on to the cons : The number one con I would say is the pillion seat which is very uncomfortable and slippery.
- The pillion tends to slip forward towards the rider every time the brakes are pressed and sitting for a longer duration in the pillion seat causes backache Number two would be the cost of service as mentioned above Number three would be its handle, the turning degree or angle is very limited and it’s hard to take U-turns.
The rider has to take long turns or else the bike tilts Other than these I haven’t felt any major cons. The mileage is great and has a huge tank as well. If you’re looking for an overall 200cc bike in less budget range for city riding and long rides, RS200 is the way to go.

FIA Historic Database The Group B installed by the FIA in 1983 (but already announced in 1978) offered almost full flexibility to manufacturers seduced by the concept and interested in the competition. In the 70s, Ford had earned itself a solid reputation in rally with the Ford Escort.
- When Group B was introduced, Ford had initially planned to design a new Escort, the RS 1700T.
- But the problems encountered during its development were the downfall of this project.
- This Escort was also only a two-wheel drive, while the standard set by Audi with its Quattro was already telling enough to suggest that full-wheel drive was becoming essential to aspire for any success in rally.
Ford Europe then designed the RS200, the number 200 referring to the number of road legal cars that would theoretically need to be produced to obtain FIA homologation. Starting from scratch, the chassis designers – Formula One designer Tony Southgate and Formula One engineer John Wheeler – focussed on the search for the best possible weight distribution: it was a mid-engine 4WD 2-seater coupé, with the gearbox mounted at the front, resulting in a fairly complex drive train system conceived by FF Developments.
The chassis was made of an aluminium honeycomb lower structure, with front and rear integral subframes in high strength alloys connected to the survival cell to accommodate the all-aluminium alloyed turbocharged Cosworth BDT engine and twin wishbone/twin damper suspensions on all four wheels. The 1.8 engine of the road version of the RS200 produced 250 hp at 6500 rpm, with 215 lbft of torque at 4500 rpm, although the racing version used in 1986 reached 420+ hp.
The composite/carbonglass bodywork was designed by the Ghia Design Studio (using some parts from Sierras, like the front windscreen and the rear lights) and the cars were assembled by Reliant. Its first public appearance, in road-going version, took place at the 1984 Belfast Motor Show.
