Ramanuj Ganguly, President of WBBSE, said that the decline in the number of students appearing for the exams is due to the Covid Pandemic in the past two years which has led to many students backing out of the exams as the classes were held online and their preparations for the exam were inadequate.
Ganguly also said that a the WBBSE Madhyamik Exams 2023 were held at 2,867 exam centres under CCTV surveillance along with deployment of police personnel. WBBSE also announced the Madhyamik Date Sheet 2023 i.e. the WB 10th Datesheet 2023 on June 03, 2022. The WBBSE President informed that the West Bengal Madhyamik Exams 2023 were held from February 23, 2023 till March 4, 2023.
As per the WBBSE, Madhyamik Exams 2023 began with the First Language Paper (Bengali) on February 23, 2023, followed by Second Language Paper (English) on February 24, Geography on February 25, History on February 27, Life Science on February 28, Mathematics on March 2, Physical Science on March 3 and Optional Subject on March 4, 2023.
